The new update removed all the bookmarks I referenced frequently. Please bring back this function

Whoever programmed this update did not have their user in mind. Why would you remove bookmarks and why would you remove the dates associated with the daily devotionals? In its current state this app is completely useless to me and Ive gone back to the online version. Ive lost all of my bookmarks which were used to quickly access previous devotionals that were important to my spiritual growth. Even when you add this feature back you will not be able to restore all of my old bookmarks they are gone forever.

I like the fact that we can finally tap the scripture references to look them up. But when I saw that my bookmarks were gone I was ill. I refer to them often for study and encouragement. Can you return this feature in a manner that restores our bookmarks?

Why did you try to fix something that wasnt broke? Where are the bookmarks? Where is the access to the study materials (e.g. Study notes) Where is the Promises of God section? Why did you ruin a perfectly good and useful app? Please put it back to the way it was.

What has happened? An update should improve user experience not reduce it. I can no longer get daily devotions on the current day! They are always one day behind. Also, the daily devotions are not dated with dates! What??? Please Lord help these App people realize they made a mistake & roll us back to the previous version! Who did UAT on these changes???

New update wont open to todays (current day) devotion.

This app was perfectly fine. Why try to change everything around? Simply fix the bugs but LEAVE EVERYTHING ELSE ALONE! Please go back to the previous version. This update has no Promises of God section, no magazine articles, and no dates! Cmon people lets go back. PLEASE.

App is not loading (or does so sporadically). As others have said, bring the old version back WITH OUR BOOKMARKS, GODS PROMISES, MAGAZINE ARTICLES. It is hard to believe that such poor technology is coming from In Touch. Prior Reviews: From Very to Exceedingly Disappointed - No Bookmarks? Have I just lost everything I depended on for reference for myself and others (which was quite a lot - since the inception of the app)? Specific devotions, magazine articles, and broadcasts? Gone? Lets RECAP: BOOKMARKS GONE AND ERASED, MAGAZINE ARTICLES GONE, GODS PROMISES GONE, ERROR MESSAGE SAYING NO INTERNET CONNECTION (which is false) SO NO ACCESS TO APP (until the message decides to go away). Perhaps, developers, you should just take the app down, fix it - including restoring everything that previously was available, TEST IT, and then bring it back up. This is very sad. At least the Bible Links are finally fixed. But that is not enough. Prior Review: In the redesign, are you trying to hide that you completely removed the magazine articles? Also, every day I get an error message saying Im not connected to the Internet when I absolutely am (funny how everything else works!). Also, the Bible Link is still NOT working. Ive gone from 5 stars down to 1. Prior Review - "What Else Will You Take Away" - I hate to give a negative review for something related to one of my favorite people - Dr. Stanley. However, the quality of this app is steadily diminishing. Now the MAGAZINE ARTICLES are gone. How sad. That was a tremendous benefit to many people, as was GODS PROMISES which are MIA, as another reviewer noted. Are you going to fix these things, including returning the BIBLE LINK? Or will you be removing something else? Im removing stars. Started with 5, now down to 2. Prior Review: I am growing very frustrated with and disappointed in the instability of this app. I love and know much about Dr. Stanley, and I am certain that sloppiness is not something he would be pleased with. First, the Devotional audio player displayed "error" and would not play. Though it finally was fixed, it then disappeared altogether. It finally reappeared. However, now the BIBLE LINK no longer works. I am sure that no small number of people rely heavily on that link, (and just as certain that even more did and do rely on the audio capability). It seems whenever something is done with the app, something else breaks. Please fix, and please conduct UAT and QCs before releasing updates or changes.

Was anyone thinking when redesigning this app? The worst part for me is the lack of a bookmark AND the loss of my saved ones. Do I understand that all of these changes were made, discussed and OKed by responsible designers? Please restore the app with all of these important missing elements. And TALK to users about what you are planning before touching anything.

After having InTouch developers add closed captions myself and my wife who are deaf were able to watch Dr Stanleys On tv this week" sermons series. What joy it brought to us to fully understand Gods words through Dr Stanley is indescribable . I have personally told many of our deaf brothers n sisters in Christ about this wonderful app..... Only to find out the app is now useless since the caption add-on has been removed in the latest update?? Please correct the many things that have been removed from the app as many others have noted like bookmarks, etc. and bring the caption capability back please.

This update is worse! I cant read past devotions, or bookmark any. And-Where are my past bookmarks? I read them all the time and now theyre gone?? And the magazine is gone. Whos idea was this? I wish I hadnt updated, as is so often the case with app updates :(

I loved the previous version of this app and still enjoy the content but a couple key features are missing for me. I miss the bookmarks feature as well as the articles that were related to the theme of the month. Please bring these back!

Ive had the In Touch mobile app for 3 years and used it every day. Since the last update I have not used it at all and will probably end up deleting it since EVERYTHING I had saved in it is now gone. Im sure youve heard the saying "If it aint broke, dont fix it" and that would have been sound advice to whoever "fixed" this app. PLEASE hit "rewind" on this update and restore the app to its original state. Otherwise, its just going to be another app that gets deleted from my phone because its doing nothing but taking up space.

I used to love this app. The update no longer allows me to search. In the past this has been my go to for biblical guidance on specific subjects. Please add it back! Lastly the magazine articles were removed. Why?

I still listen to Dr. Stanleys messages daily, and get a blessing from each one. But, this APP was way more than just a place to here great messages from God. It was a tool to help with my spiritual growth and development. For example, those messages where God ministered to me most or God convicted me to save and send to someone when He placed it on my heart again, are lost because Bookmarks are gone. Also, the ability to do a word search or any search is no longer available. That is a huge loss. Now I would have recommended to update the search to "phrase" versus one word searches, but not remove it. Please make this APP at least as useful as it was previously. I had convince friends in need of the spirit filled messages from Dr. S to get the APP. I am concerned they will discontinue use now. Thanks and God Bless, Michael J. Walters

I thought I read that you will be bringing back features like bookmarks and other features that were previously available. Is there an time frame for that? I am so disappointed because I cannot bookmark my favorite teachings by Dr. Stanley! Please bring back ALL features that were removed!! Or just go back to the old version... it didnt need to be updated. Where are my bookmarks? I utilized the bookmarks ALL THE TIME time to refer back to previous teachings. They are ALL gone. All my favorites and teachings that were so important to me. I also liked that the date was noted beside the title of each teaching. Visually, all the titles just run together now to me. This is disappointing because this is my favorite app and it looks like its missing detail that was very useful, I thought. And what about Gods Promises search? Why would that be removed? There are too many things missing that made the app so great in the first place!!! Please bring them ALL back!

Please bring back the "Gods Promises" section! Having topical Bible verses available right in the app was vital. I was sad to see it was removed. Hopefully it will return!

I have had this app on my phone for over 5 years. Not sure who or what happened in the latest update but not good at all. It was excellent just before the update and I would read multiple times during the day. Also to be noted: Dr Stanley is always pointing his finger at the audience - body language is negative - superiority! Come on we are praying you are reading your reviews.

They have completed eliminated the section which had "Gods Promises" This section was extremely useful when looking up issues like anger, jealous and confusion. Once a topic was selected it would take you to the verses in the bible that would directly help you deal with the problem or issue. I now see that they have a tab for "donations"???

July 21, 2016. You went from 5 stars to 1 overnight! In order to "fix a bug" for "some" devices that caused a "not connected to Internet" error message to appear, you simply removed it from some devices and added it to others. I have an iPhone 5S, and I sadly report that I can no longer receive my Daily Devotions. Please fix for ALL of us. Thx
